Haryana: India has started a TB Elimination Campaign, with the goal of reducing cases and deaths from the disease. The campaign was launched by Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda in Panchkula, Haryana, on Saturday. It will take place in 347 districts across 33 states where TB is most common.

The campaign will focus on improving TB detection, reducing delays in diagnosis, and enhancing treatment outcomes. The government is using new technologies for TB detection and has introduced a shorter treatment plan to make it easier for patients to complete their treatment. The country is also focusing on providing better care and nutrition to people with TB.
