This cutting-edge facility, equipped with advanced oncology technology, will be developed over the next three years with an investment of ₹250 crore.
The upcoming oncology centre, to be established in Hyderabad by FY 2028, aims to enhance access to Proton Beam Therapy—an advanced cancer treatment method. Currently, Apollo’s Chennai Proton Centre has the capacity to treat 850 patients annually, with over 500 patients receiving treatment each year. The new Hyderabad facility will further expand capacity, enabling an additional 350 patients to benefit from this specialized care annually.Apollo Hospitals will fully fund the ₹250 crore investment through internal accruals, reaffirming its dedication to advancing comprehensive oncology care in India.
