Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Chairman of the Academy of Digital Health Sciences and former advisor to the Union Health Minister, emphasized the significance of this program, stating, “Pharmacists serve as the gatekeepers of healthcare, and with the rapid digitalization of the pharmaceutical industry, it is essential for them to understand and adapt to these advancements. Whether in corporate, clinical, or community settings, this course will provide immense value. This is the world’s first such program for pharmacists, accredited for 60 hours and four academic credits by the Bombay College of Pharmacy, and is available globally.”

During the launch event, Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi, Drugs Controller General of India, highlighted the role of digital health in bridging critical gaps in healthcare delivery. He remarked, “Digital health has the potential to solve many healthcare challenges and expand access to the last mile. However, there is a significant knowledge gap, as very few professionals currently understand this field. This program, developed with the efforts of experts like Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, is a significant contribution to the healthcare ecosystem. The collaboration between the Bombay College of Pharmacy, the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, and IIM Raipur will greatly benefit pharmacists and contribute to the advancement of healthcare in the country.”
