Cities such as Delhi and Chennai are at the forefront of this trend, showing high demand for essential roles like research associates and brand management trainees. The Career Outlook Report 2024 by team lease ed tech highlights that the rapid adoption of telemedicine, which has made virtual consultations and remote healthcare services mainstream, and the growing focus on preventive healthcare have significantly influenced this hiring surge.
In research-related roles, Delhi (65%), Bengaluru (56%), and Ahmedabad (48%) are leading hubs for professionals involved in medical research, clinical trial support, and data management. Meanwhile, brand management trainees, who focus on marketing strategies and business development, are in demand in cities like Chennai (57%), Delhi (53%), and Coimbatore (45%).
Similarly, nursing assistants, who provide essential patient care, are highly sought after in Hyderabad (54%), Chandigarh (49%), and Gurugram (43%). Medical laboratory technicians, who handle diagnostic tools and conduct tests, are seeing strong recruitment activity in Mumbai (51%), Hyderabad (47%), and Indore (40%).
