The Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR) has named Dr. Seema Pai as its new President for the 2025–2028 term. She takes over from Dr. Sanish Davis, who led the organization from 2021 to 2025.
Dr. Pai brings over two decades of clinical research experience to the role. She currently heads Global Site and Study Operations at Pfizer for India, South Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. With a strong background in clinical trial oversight and regulatory affairs, she aims to steer ISCR towards its mission of promoting and strengthening clinical research in India.
“It’s a privilege to lead ISCR at such a significant milestone in its journey,” said Dr. Pai. “As we mark 20 years of ISCR, our commitment remains firm — upholding the highest standards of quality, ethics, and efficiency while embracing innovation and building stronger collaborations across the clinical research community.”
Looking back on his leadership, Dr. Sanish Davis expressed appreciation for the progress made during his term. “These past years have been transformative for India’s clinical research landscape,” he noted. “ISCR has been instrumental in shaping regulatory reforms and enhancing partnerships between academia and industry. I’m confident that under Dr. Pai’s guidance, the society will continue to be a driving force for ethical and progressive clinical research in the country.”
