Force Motors Ltd announced on Thursday that it has received an order to supply 2,429 ambulances to the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order is for BS-VI diesel ambulances and will be executed between December 2024 and March 2025. The value of the order has not been disclosed.
In a subsequent statement, Force Motors highlighted that the Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to procure these ambulances reflects a strong commitment to enhancing the state’s healthcare infrastructure. The company noted that the new fleet will play a critical role in improving emergency response services and ensuring timely medical assistance for millions of residents across urban and rural areas.
The ambulances will be delivered in various configurations, including Patient Transport, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Mobile Medical Units (MMU), addressing diverse healthcare needs.

Following the announcement, Force Motors shares surged by 8.69%, closing at ₹7,208 per share on the BSE.
This large-scale order marks a significant step in strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s healthcare infrastructure and enhancing emergency medical services.
