This collaboration, centered on One Health and Digital Health Technologies, was officially announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Emmanuel Macron at the Paris AI Summit.

The initiative aims to enhance research and innovation in healthcare by combining expertise from both nations. By fostering connections between research institutions, academia, and industry, the partnership seeks to develop targeted solutions for public health challenges across different regions.

Expressing enthusiasm, C-CAMP Director-CEO Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed highlighted the significance of the agreement being endorsed at the highest levels of leadership, emphasizing the shared commitment to improving healthcare quality and accessibility. The primary objective is to build global networks of excellence and utilize collaborative ecosystems to support researchers and innovators across both countries.

Mark Lamy, the Consul General of France in Bangalore, described the agreement as a strategic move to integrate the strengths of both innovation hubs, focusing on critical areas like One Health and Digital Health.

The Letter of Intent (LoI), signed on February 10, 2025, by Dr. Saiyed and Professor Antoine Tesnière, Director of PariSanté Campus, marks a major milestone in Indo-French cooperation, paving the way for joint efforts in tackling global healthcare challenges.
