India is set to host the prestigious World Health Summit (WHS) Regional Meeting for the first time, taking place from April 25-27, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organized by NIMS University Jaipur, this landmark event will bring together top global health experts, policymakers, scientists, and innovators to address critical healthcare challenges and explore sustainable solutions.

The World Health Summit is a premier international platform dedicated to advancing global health by fostering collaboration among political leaders, scientists, private sector representatives, and civil society. It serves as a key forum for discussing pressing health issues, shaping policies, and driving progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in ensuring equitable healthcare access, advancing health diplomacy, and strengthening global partnerships.

Traditionally, the World Health Summit is held annually in Berlin each October, attracting over 3,000 in-person attendees and more than 20,000 virtual participants. Additionally, WHS organizes regional meetings worldwide, focusing on local and regional health priorities while contributing to the broader global health agenda.
