Hospitals Set to Begin Operations on January 14 for Maha Kumbh on Key Route Between Varanasi and Prayagraj
Hospitals have been established on the premises of three police stations along National Highway 19 between Varanasi and Prayagraj to ensure medical assistance for devotees traveling to the Maha Kumbh. Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik confirmed that the hospitals, located at the Aurai, Gopiganj, and Unj police stations in Bhadohi district, will begin operating smoothly on January 14.
The route, which passes through Bhadohi, is a vital one for thousands of pilgrims, especially from the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, on their way to Prayagraj. Out of the 82 kilometers between Varanasi and Prayagraj, 45 kilometers fall within Bhadohi district. This route will see a significant influx of devotees attending the Maha Kumbh, and the newly built hospitals will provide essential healthcare services along this busy stretch.
