The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has clarified that the NEET UG 2025 Round 2 final results remain unchanged, following confusion over an earlier withdrawal notice.
Earlier, the MCC had put the reporting process on hold after a government medical college mistakenly reported double the number of available seats for Round 2 counselling. This error led to excess seat allocation in the published result. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) subsequently directed the MCC to review and revise the results.
However, in a fresh notice issued on September 18, the MCC confirmed that the results declared earlier the same day will stand as final. Candidates have now been advised to download their allotment letters and proceed for reporting to their allotted colleges as per schedule, with no changes required.
The Round 2 counselling results pertain to MBBS and BDS admissions under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Qualified candidates must report to their allotted colleges with the required documents.
