In a move to enhance medical accessibility for Korean nationals in India, Medanta Hospital has signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding with The Korean Association in India. The agreement aims to provide tailored healthcare services and a culturally supportive environment for the Korean community living across the country.

The MoU was formalized in the last week of September at Medanta’s facility, with Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, and Mr. Kwang-Il Lee, President of The Korean Association in India, leading the signing ceremony. Senior representatives from both organisations were also present.

Under this partnership, Korean Association members will have access to a wide range of services outpatient consultations, executive health check-ups, and inpatient treatment along with personalised support through a dedicated Korean help desk and helpline. A relationship manager will assist members with hospital processes, while green-channel registration and VIP tagging will ensure a seamless experience.

Dr. Trehan emphasized that the initiative aligns with Medanta’s vision of inclusive healthcare. “We are committed to creating an environment that respects cultural sensitivities and provides the Korean community with a comfortable healthcare experience,” he said.

The collaboration signifies a growing spirit of international cooperation in India’s healthcare ecosystem, positioning Medanta as a hub for global patient care and cultural integration.
