Indian Dialysis network NephroPlus has strengthened its presence in the Philippines by acquiring seven new dialysis clinicsfor an undisclosed amount. With this expansion, the company now operates 36 clinics in the country, providing care to nearly 2,000 patients.This acquisition aligns with NephroPlus’s international growth strategy, following its recent entry into Saudi Arabia through a joint venture agreement. The company now operates across five countries, reinforcing its position as a global leader in specialized dialysis care.
NephroPlus is committed to driving innovation in dialysis treatment through technology-enabled remote monitoring, clinical data analytics, and publishing clinical outcomes in international forums. The company has also made significant investments to improve operational efficiency and patient care in the Philippines. These efforts have created approximately 400 new jobs across clinical and operational roles. Additionally, NephroPlus plans to establish a training academy for dialysis nurses and technicians in the region.
As per media reports Vikram Vuppala, Founder and CEO of NephroPlus, highlighted the growth potential in the Philippines, citing its $200 million dialysis market and the rising prevalence of chronic kidney disease as key factors.With a vast network spanning over 300 cities worldwideand500 dialysis clinics, NephroPlus serves more than 32,000 patients each month, solidifying its reputation as a global leader in dialysis care.
