TISHHA Consultants LLP organized an awareness program on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act at Radhika Superspeciality and Advanced Trauma Centre, Bareilly, on October 29. The session aimed to build understanding about workplace safety, respect, and the legal framework that protects women from sexual harassment.

The training was held under the guidance of Dr. Namrata Rathore, Executive Director, Radhika Hospital, Dr. Anchal Sharma, Dr. Ritika Shrivastava, Dr. Ruchi Hitesh Pujara and conducted by Mrs. Komila Sharma Dhingra, with enthusiastic participation from around 30 women employees and Staff Nurses of the Hospital. From the TISHHA team, Renjith T.R., Saksham Sharma, Tanisha Gupta, Vishal Gangwar, and Milind Kumar were present.

Adding a creative touch to the session, artists from Bhawani Theatre performed a short play to highlight key messages of the POSH Act. The play was written and directed by Sadiq Husain, with lyrics and narration by Pappu Verma. The cast included Rahul (Nahid Beg), Reema (Atiba), Neha (Sony), and Sonam (Sonam Morya), while Shabab managed the stage design and settings.
The program emphasized the importance of the POSH Act, 2013, which safeguards women against sexual harassment at the workplace and upholds their right to a safe and dignified environment. It also explained the legal requirements for employers, including the formation of an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for organizations with ten or more employees and Local Complaints Committees (LCCs) at the district level. The Act mandates regular awareness sessions, proper display of policies, confidentiality during investigations, and reporting of cases in annual reports.

Through such training initiatives, TISHHA Consultants LLP reinforces its commitment to advancing workplace equality, empowering women, and fostering sensitivity among all employees toward respectful and professional behaviour.
