Ayush Ministry Prepares Holistic Wellness Initiatives for Maha Kumbh 2025

As the Maha Kumbh 2025 approaches, set to begin on January 13 in Prayagraj, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush, Prataprao Jadhav, conducted a detailed review of the preparations for Ayush initiatives at the grand event. Expressing satisfaction with the progress, the Minister commended the team for their dedication to enhancing the experience of devotees at this global congregation.

Highlighting the significance of the Maha Kumbh, the Minister stated, “This sacred event is not merely a gathering of millions but a confluence of spirituality, culture, and wellness. It is an opportunity to showcase the power of traditional Ayush systems and integrate them into daily life, enriching the experience of all attendees.”

The Ministry of Ayush, in collaboration with the state government, has planned an array of initiatives to offer a holistic and unforgettable experience for pilgrims. “From 24/7 healthcare services to yoga camps and mobile clinics, we are committed to ensuring the well-being of devotees. I applaud the team for their meticulous efforts,” the Minister added.

Key Ayush Initiatives at Maha Kumbh 2025:

  1. Round-the-Clock Ayush Multi-OPD Clinics:
    Pilgrims will have 24/7 access to personalized healthcare services rooted in natural and holistic Ayush practices, ensuring continuous health support throughout the event.
  2. Special Yoga Camps:
    Conducted by experts from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) and state authorities, these camps will offer sessions focused on mindfulness, physical well-being, and spirituality, creating a harmonious blend of health and devotion.
  3. Medicinal Plant Exhibits:
    An immersive display of India’s medicinal flora will educate visitors on the healing properties of various plants, emphasizing their role in modern healthcare.
  4. Mobile Ayush Clinics:
    Fully equipped mobile healthcare units will provide on-the-spot medical care across the Kumbh grounds, ensuring timely and accessible services for pilgrims.

According to Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, “We are also promoting awareness of these facilities through social media and other popular platforms to ensure maximum outreach.”

With these initiatives, the Maha Kumbh 2025 promises to be a historic event, blending Ayush systems seamlessly into the health and wellness journey of millions of pilgrims, reaffirming the significance of traditional practices in modern life.
