UP to Set Up 15 Temporary Hospitals for Deepotsav in Ayodhya

The Uttar Pradesh Health Department announced that 15 temporary hospitals are being set up in Ayodhya to safeguard the health of devotees and tourists during the upcoming Deepotsav celebrations.

According to the department, round-the-clock ambulance services will also be deployed at 10 key locations across the festival area. “All hospitals will have essential medicines, paramedical staff, and specialist doctors to ensure uninterrupted medical services,” said Ayodhya Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sushil Kumar Baniyan, adding that continuous vigilance will be maintained throughout the event.

Ambulances will remain stationed at the Control Room, Ram Janmabhoomi Complex, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhavan Temple Complex, Pakka Ghat, Bandha Tiraha (Veena Crossing), Hanuman Gufa ( Ram Katha Museum), Saket Petrol Pump, Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, and Nageshwar Nath Temple.

In addition, 50 beds have been kept on standby at three major hospitals to handle any medical emergencies during the festivities, the statement added.
