On the occasion of World Liver Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged citizens to embrace healthy eating habits and focus on leading a healthier lifestyle. Emphasizing the power of simple, effective changes, he noted that actions like cutting down on oil consumption can have a meaningful impact on overall health. Observed annually, World Liver Day seeks to raise awareness about liver health and diseases. The theme for this year is “ Food is Medicine”.

Responding to a post by Union Minister JP Nadda on X, Modi remarked:”A noteworthy initiative on #WorldLiverDay to promote mindful eating and healthier choices. Even small steps, such as limiting oil use, can lead to significant health benefits. Let’s come together to create a healthier, stronger India by spreading awareness about obesity.”
